What do you all think about this Fox News reporter hostage tape?
Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 09:15 AM by Seen the light
Horrible stuff, I don't care how despicable an organization Fox News is, I wouldn't wish stuff like this on my worst enemy.

1. "All Muslim prisoners in American Jails"
Isn't that a weird sounding demand? Does that sound at ALL like the demands of any other hostage takers over there?

3. It is and it wouldn't surprise me if this was all a setup
However, I'm not going to lie to you, I tend to accept things as presented to me many times. Probably a bad thing, I know, but this is pretty compelling TV. I don't know, I just don't know.

5. Agreed, horrible stuff
Shouldn't happen to anyone. But what is interesting is to note the difference betweent the way Fox treats this as compared to the Jill Carroll story where conservative bloggers and Fox contributors said she has engineered her own kidnapping for polotical purposes. When its their own, they talk out of the other face.

6. I really haven't been following it.

But now that you mention it, who was the conservative pundit who said that she had spent 8 days in Iraq and that it was safe to navigate around the city which proved that the Liberal media was only reporting the negative news?

I mean, a war zone is a war zone so I'm wondering because I haven't heard much about the FoxNews reporter on the other networks, and I don't watch Fox News so I'm wondering how they're reporting this latest kidnapping.

7. But if it was Gibson, Hume, Hannity, Wallace, Cameron, O'Reilly
or any of FOX's other WARMONGERS, I would say they reaping what they sow.

Most likely these guys are going to wind up headless. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy no matter how much I hate Faux news.

And Ann Coulter wished for the New York Times building to get attacked.

9. Hiya stl! How ya doin?
I haven't seen the hostage tape, didn't even know there was one til I saw your post just now. But I can say that whatever the tape is, I agree with you. Fox News reporters are human beings too, and every living being should be treated with respect. I'll have to check the news to see what this is about - and thanks for the heads up!

10. You're quite welcome
A friend of mine was talking about it this morning, so I turned it on to see what was going on. My apologies if this isn't common news here yet, I guess I just mistakenly assumed it was.

13. You are a better person than I.....
by believing that every person deserves respect. I personally dont believe that.....I can name dozens of humans (term used loosely) that I dont think deserve it, beginning with chimpy, rove and cheney.....and would even put coultergeist and rushballs in that group.

14. I don't care.
I mean, they are FOX (the most anti-Palestinian, anti-Muslim news organization on the planet) and they went to the territories? That's pretty dumb. I'm one of the people that believes that the greatest teacher in life is experience. Well, FOX now knows what happens in the territories to their journalists. Lesson learned.

Dumb FOX mother*******! Stupidity should never be forgiven and these journalists are in trouble of their own making.

Were the guards on the wire culpable for what happened in the camps? Are we guilty for our silent acquiescence to what has been perpetrated in our names all over the world? :dilemma:
