Fox News Journalists Video Released.....Captured by Unknown Group..
The tape was just released and struck me as kind of strange in that neither journalist looked stressed at all. Apparently they were capture by an "unknown group." Would Fox be above doing a "stunt?" Kind of convenient to have two journalists for a RW Cable captured by Palestinians during a time of crisis where there might be some interest in having Palestinians be seen as terrorists. MSNBC had a Palestinian journalist on saying no one in GAZA had ever heard of the group claiming the capture and I got the feeling he was suspicious.

Video of kidnapped journalists released

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - A previously unknown Palestinian group released video Wednesday of two kidnapped Fox News journalists and demanded that Muslim prisoners in U.S. jails be released within 72 hours in exchange for the men, a Palestinian news agency reported.

The video, which broadcast by Al-Jazeera and also seen by an Associated Press correspondent, was the first sign of American correspondent Steve Centanni, 60, of the San Francisco area, and cameraman Olaf Wiig, 36, of New Zealand, since they were kidnapped Aug. 14 near the Palestinian security services headquarters in Gaza City.

Although Palestinian militant groups have often seized foreigners, including members of the media, this is the longest any have been held.

In the video, the men sat on the floor in sweatsuits and appeared to be in good health. No armed men were seen.

2. When conspiracy theories collide.

Lately, a lot of people on DU have been saying that the MSM is conspiring to keep Palestine OUT of the news; and here we have Fox conspiring to get Palestine INTO the news? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Edited to remove silly typo in title.

5. Why should we even care?

It's really no big deal. I don't watch Faux News anymore, and brushing those 2 "journalists" off like dandruff.

It's like they are trying to downplay it. Maybe having two of their own reporters held hostage kind of stinks up they're "GOP Successes in the Middle East" message. Even though these two guys work for Fox News and, therefore, aren't journalists, I think they deserve better from their employer. Wouldn't it be ironic if the families had to watch CNN to get the straight story?
