Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 01:49 PM by WI_DEM
that is what I don't get about the Hillary dislike on DU--she is actually no different than Bill (policy wise) and yet the "big dawg" is liked by many who dislike Hillary. She believes in the same "triangularization" policy of co-oping GOP policies that Bill did. I don't want Hillary in '08, but it sure has never made sense why people dislike her but like Bill when they are two peas in the same pod.

I would like a number of possible Progressive/Liberals, but if Hillary gets the nomination what are all these negative posts going to be worth: a cup of warm spit.

There's stating it directly and clearly, for example. Or there is slipping off into some impressionistic nonsense.

Whatever works.

Calling a politician a Queen/King is not going to encourage support from me. In fact, it will only cause me to resist ever stronger.

I will not participate in a Cult of Personality.

17. In the monarchic sense, maybe.
I'm willing to give her credit for the good things she's done, but she's also responsible for pulling our party to the right when we need to go left, and that means she's working with our enemy, intentionally or not. We cannot win until the left can be left and corporate influence is removed from our government.

Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 02:36 PM by ronnykmarshall

God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.

O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter thine enemies,
And make them fall:
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all.

Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen.
