I am so sick of seeing ads for that World Trade Center Movie... |
|
I usually don't wish ill on others (ok, except for * and his cronies) but I hope this movie is a huge failure. Sorry Nicolas, no offense.
It's not like they are going to tell the true story of what happened; that it was an inside job. Nor are they going to give the details of the dirty secrets of the family of evildoers involved. Now that movie I would be glad and grateful to see, you know, the one that tells how the WTC really went down - not the cockamamie, glorified, bullshit version that this Gov is selling.
I think to even create this film at this time is a revolting, irresponsible thing to do. Every time I see an ad for this film I am disgusted. How ridiculous! How incredibly disrespectful! It's just like America and Americans to do such a thing. Blah!
Perhaps I am the only one that feels this way. Maybe it's a great film. I will NEVER watch it. How could they turn this into a movie? How could they do it so soon? Too soon IMHO!

I haven't seen one in at least a week. I did go see the movie. I thought it did a good job showing how Americans were able to help each other after the attack.

7. Thanks, I hope I didn't offend you. I hope I wasn't rude in my |

reply. Sometimes what I write doesn't sound like what is in my mind...you know. I mean my intended message may not be communicated. Anyway, thanks for your understanding :-)

|
horrible and boring and depressive... most scenes are with fellow buried...how cinematic can that be? black screen...
My brother was in NYC and it's much too recent for me to view the horror...took me 3 days to get hold of him.

10. And it's directed by Conspiracy Man Oliver Stone! |
|
That's right, the same guy who dragged up the Jim Garrison stuff about JFK's assassination, the guy whose films have always been of the "paranoid liberal" bent. And the film does not talk about anything political at all.
I can only think of two possibilities. Perhaps Stone wanted to do a straight rescue film. Or perhaps he was convinced or ordered to make a film that says nothing about the politics of the incidents.

14. JFK was a great film. Too bad Stone didn't deal w/conspiracy |
|
issues in this one. Then again, the movie JFK was done many years after the event.

and that's all that is on t.v.! and only giving 10% of the profits to the memorial, WTF? I'm not giving money to a film just trying to make a buck off american deaths. I don't care how good it is all profits and then some should go to charity and then i'll watch it.
