Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 03:52 AM by Philosoraptor
For his bizarre behavior? Let's face it, this guy pretending to be our president is acting downright bizarre in public, and saying and doing some downright bizarre things.

I mean, what does bush have to do to get the Cruise treatment? Go on Oprah and couch jump with joy over the prospects of a larger war in the middle east?

When is somebody going to call bush on his bizarre behavior? Particularly when he is starring in his own blockbuster hit, "Mission Impossible"

2. I have heard the behavior excuse is not the full tale
The real reason was that he wanted Paramount to sever their ties with the SOUTH PARK creators, and they told him to fuck himself. They've extended their relationship with that crowd.

I also heard that he was offered MUCH LESS per year to stay with them, and he got huffy.

But, that's entertainment news sources. Who knows, really?

As for Monkey, we probably did dump him the last two times out. But without verified voting, we'll have a tough time proving it.

When Joe Scarborough (he of the dead office worker) asks the question "Is George Bush an idiot?" on his show, things aren't going too well for him. His faithful are slip-sliding away...

3. the way that slimy joe scarboro presents his question is that he makes
himself equal to some gadfly bringing to light a question that he says powerful republicans are asking, not because MICHAEL MOORE, or SUSAN SARANDON, or other names like that have asked the question, legitimately and long ago, but because POWERFUL REPUBLICANS ARE NOW ASKING THE QUESTION AND THE GADFLY SCARBORO NEEDS TO PUT IT TO REST ... that bush is not an idiot...he says.

scarboro is right up there in the same slimy league that the bushes are.

6. Here--read what he said in context. He said he was a moron
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 06:22 AM by MADem
WASHINGTON — For 10 minutes, the talk-show host grilled his guests about whether "George Bush's mental weakness is damaging America's credibility at home and abroad." For 10 minutes, the caption across the bottom of the television screen read, "IS BUSH AN 'IDIOT'?"

But the host was no liberal media elitist. It was Joe Scarborough, a former Republican congressman turned MSNBC political commentator. And his answer to the captioned question was not "no."

While other presidents have been called stupid, he said: "I think George Bush is in a league by himself. I don't think he has the intellectual depth as these other people."

These have been tough days politically for President Bush, with his poll numbers mired in the 30s and Republican candidates distancing themselves as elections near. He can no longer even rely as much on once-friendly voices in the conservative media to stand by his side as some columnists and television commentators lose faith in his leadership and lose heart in the war in Iraq.....Scarborough concluded on the segment, "we do need a president who, I think, is intellectually curious. And that is a big question, whether George W. Bush has the intellectual curiousness — if that's a word — to continue leading this country over the next couple of years."

In a later interview, Scarborough said he aired the segment because he kept hearing even fellow Republicans questioning Bush's capacity and leadership, particularly in Iraq.

Like others, he said, he supported the war, but now believes it's time to find a way to get out.....

Better still, watch the segment here: http://politicalhumor.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=politicalhumor&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DwhhbPVrb5KM

The Bushisms alone are stunning.

10. the following day he was being interviewed by one of the morning
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 09:38 AM by flordehinojos
or afternoon t.v. news anchors... the comments i made are based on what he said to the person interviewing him. granted, i could not stomach to listen to all of what he said, being that he seemed to really be putting down michael moore, susan sarandon and many other good democrats and anti-bush activists (i don't remember if he named cindy sheehan as one of those he put down) who saw through bush and had the light and the truth long before scar-burrough put himself up as a gadfly of light and truth--which he is not-- with his headline question. therefore, my comments.

11. Well, he IS a GOP conservative, of course he's going to slap
around liberals--it's what they DO.

Dogs bark, cats meow...you aren't gonna change that guy's heart. What's significant, though, is with heart UNCHANGED, he's slapping around the Monkey.

It's more significant than if he had a Come To Jesus moment and decided to vote (D). And he's no pack leader--he follows along. He's been hearing the theme from his "betters" in the con crowd, and he decided to test drive it on his show, I suspect.

12. O:-)
thanks. yes. i think that is what he was doing. his test drive was so full of mud it was sickening. it kept me from hearing the part where he does criticize bush for his lack of brain and incompetence.

But if he advances the "Git out the Bushes" theme, I will tolerate him!

but my point was, you were able to see and hear something my own dislike for scarborough prevented me from seeing or hearing.

It's one of those quickies, like IMO (in my opinion) or IMHO (in my humble opinion) or IIRC (if I recall correctly).

So, for what it is worth, I think he's an asshole too!!

7. he decided to leave on his own, and they're just badmouthing him
instead of thanking him for the BILLIONS of dollars he's made for them (and will continue to make, residual-wise and in dvd sales). Just an unclassy move by a douche company.

16. They did offer his production company 2.5 million dollars a year for
the next two years - far short of the kind of development deals people like Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp got. I think ol' Scientology Boy was expecting far more. After all, he's the biggest fucking star in the fucking world, 'eh? Sometimes justice tastes rawther sweet. The little control-freak prick had it coming, IMO.

4. The Unitary Executive
cannot be questioned. In a 'democratic' society as defined by Bushco --he has the right to run amok if he wants to. After all, he's the Decider. We are unruly children who must obey. Daddy's weird and abusive sometimes. Live with it, is the message.

The nightmare will not end based on the degree of Il Chimp's bizarre behavior. Nobody blinked when Reagan went down the Pacific Coast Highway and Nancy's astrologer ran the country. People prop up their leaders and Chimpy has a lot of parasites who are invested in him still. They run the show and only they can decide when to push the eject button.
