That should be the question that neutralizes any future nitwit, fake good old boy candidates the GOP puts up like uber-idiot George Allen.

I want a doctor who knows more about medicine than me.

I want a mechanic who knows more about cars than me.

and I want a president who knows more about other countries and foreign policy than I do.

If you see a candidate you'd like to have a beer with, buy him a beer to console him after you vote for the most qualified guy.

1. That makes too much sense
for lazy Americans who get all their news and information in soundbites. Nice thought though....

2. if that sociopath currently soiling the oval office knew even as much as
I do about foreign affairs, other countries, policy, etc-- he'd be doing 1000% better than he is currently doing.

oh wait, I keep forgetting--that is predicated on the assumption that everything he is doing isn't a deliberate, coldly calculated move (by SOMEONE) to totally destroy this country.

3. I think that is more likely the case, like neoliberalism in Latin America
only applied here. First you break a country with debt, then you buy the pieces at fire sale prices.
