1. Don't be surprised...

This is scary shit and I'm sure people don't want to think about financial collapse on top of all the other stuff we're dealing with. It wouldn't be a bad idea to be prepared, just in case (have about a month or more supply of food on hand, buy a scooter or bike, build up a support network of friends/neighbors, minimalize, etc.)
