Barney Frank vs AnnieMan Coulter on CNBC with Larry Kudlow.... |
|
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 04:40 PM by KoKo01
Why Kudlow would have Coulter on a "Business Show" is beyond me...but maybe he needed the ratings. Anyway, just so you DU'ers know...Barney Frank Slayed the Dragon Coulter with intelligent business knowledge while she sat there squirming on whatever that thing she has between her legs and tried to be like "Barbie on Speed" in her "nonsensical replies."
Frank got her on Dems will RAISE TAXES if elected. He explained in down to earth terms how raising taxes on the Wealthy like Bill Gates would help Americans who are dealing with loss of jobs and those who have jobs but are getting hit with AMT. Coulter tried to say that only Dems in Blue States who are the Richest will get hurt and isn't that "State Discrimination?" and Frank hit her back with "Ann it's not Blue States but all states and if you remember going back to "Articles of Confederation" taxing some people in certain states over others is not part of America, because people in ALL STATES who make over $200,000 should be taxed.
He got her on the War in Iraq saying it drained the resources from Afghanistan which EVERY Dem supported ...but Bush's going into IRAQ has cost us in trying to go after the Terrorists of 9/11. Coulter said she has an article coming up in a "few weeks" that will trash the media for not reporting on Afghanistan...but Franks went at her again and again over her HYPOCRACY and IDIOCY! He called her out in a way that refuted her lies and the lies she's told about Democrats.
It was good to see...and I was glad I watched it! Show competed with Tweety and Blitzer and Kudlow is a Repug Opus Dei Creep...but he is making an effort "sometimes" to have Dems on that can't get time on the other shows. It's Business Entertainment for him but sometimes one can find good Dems over there getting some time to get their opinions out.

2. Excellent! Love Barney Frank! |

Not to be picky, but you've got a typo - para 3, line 3 - it's hypocrisy, not hypocracy.
Thanks for posting this - hope we get some video of this smackdown!

Why he wastes his time out-classing that other persona non grata is beyond me.

7. There are very few who wouldn't be out-classed by Barney. |
|
After his own indiscretions many years ago, he's been one of my very favorite Congresscritters. He's articulate and well-informed - and NOT on the corporatist payroll like too many.

6. Wait. I thought rich people drove the economy. If all the rich people are |

blue state Democrats, does that mean that Republicans are all deadbeats and welfare loafs?

10. Thanks for the rundown. I wish I had been able to see it. Perhaps |
|
I can catch it in reruns. Coulter is difficult at best to watch on anything, but I do like Barney. He has a very specific way of smacking down liars and hypocrites, and he had the opportunity to deal with both with Ann Coulter.

11. I don't know that CNBC has transcripts..but the Business Day Traders |
|
Watch it...and other Wall St. Creeps..(angels and devils) so that he does have Dems on is a good thing. Because we've got to corrupt Wall St. with anti-Bush TRUTH just like they've corrupted America with Pro-Bush LIES!
He has Robert Reich (Clinton Administration ..although he left early on like Dick Morris and that guy who wrote "Primary Colors" ..Joe Klein?)
Anyway, Kudlow (who's been in drug rehab a couple of times) seems to be the typical Media Shill...who whores whichever way the tide is turning. He even had Judy Collins (a Big Folk Singer Liberal from 60's on) and said she was a "close friend of his." Either Judy Collins has turned Repug...or Larry was a radical in his early days who found "RELIGION" with the Repugs (more likely they paid him to turn) ...but sometimes he's worth a watch...although not all times and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. Still he is trying to give Dems "airtime" like the Romans did to the Christians...:-(
