Has the military taken over American life?

In Why We Fight, Eugene Jarecki takes an unflinching look at the anatomy of the American war machine. What are the forces – political, economic and ideological – that drive the U.S. to fight against an ever-changing enemy?
.
"Ambitious... This scary, eye-opening documentary looks back from a post-9/11 vantage point to see how Ike's prophecy has come horribly true, with the collusion of Congress, corporations and the rise of unelected think tanks in determining foreign policy."
–David Ansen, Newsweek

Why We Fight won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.

2. I don't get Canadian TV in my platinum cable package.
Why DO we fight?

From my first hand experience of BushBots in my Family, I think it is because "we" are Empty. We are so externally oriented that we have no idea how to create a reason/motive to live. That's why we are a culture of Death.
