Overheard At the Las Vegas Airport |
|
We were on our way home from Las Vegas the other day. The woman two people in front of us in the security line was complaining about not being able to take a bottle of perfume through security. (Yeah, like the restrictions haven't been in place for two weeks - duh...) The TSA guard laughed and said, "That's the way Congress wants it." I added, "that'll change in November!" Which prompted a laugh and a "I certainly hope so!" from the black businessman in front of us.
Even the TSA guys are getting pissed off.

1. Oh cool. Let's hope the polls improve, though. Some of the |
|
recent ones have made me nervous.

2. A friend of mine flew when this first started |
|
Said they confiscated her bottled water. Then they charged her $3.50 for THEIR bottle of water and then confiscated it. She was pissed off.

10. Happened just that way with my sister the weekend it all started up |
|
She is STILL fuming. They also took a tiny tube of hand cream she needs as her skin is damaged from chemo and radiation. She said fine, but insisted a man with oily hair be seated in front of her so she could moisten her hands on his hair.
Cabin attendent thought she was kidding ;) HA!

a Diet Pepsi between us at the layover in Dallas. And they sicced TSA on us because they saw me put it into my bag. After we did that, we saw that they were asking everyone at the gate, then decided to chug. By the time we finished and got in line, the TSA guys showed up and picked us out first. I laughed and told him we chugged it, and proceeded to belch.

6. Excuse me, what say does Congress have in this? |
|
It doesn't, so far as I know.

7. Even if Congress did, ostensibly, have a say in this |
|
they would just roll over, yet again, and let the admini$tration have its way.
