1. I am SOOOOO glad to know that dallas has no more pressing issues to |
deal with than saggy pants. we must insist that their leaders tell all the rest of us how they managed such a feat in our time.

that female students were not allowed to wear pants or jeans on campus.

5. I also recall that sometime around that time there was one woman who, |
when confronted with the rule, stepped neatly out of her pants and stuffed them in her bag. "What? No pants? Ok." She'd evidently planned it well because she was wearing a really short mini-dress that looked like a normal top until the pants came off. 'Bout time.

3. Ah, but minors don't have the same rights as adults |
That said, however, I'm no fan of the droop. If you want to wear the droop, wear an oversized T-shirt so I don't have to stare at your boxers all day.
But I wouldn't go so far as to say it should be outlawed.

Or is there something in the article I'm overlooking?

11. Yes, it's the Dallas City Council he is addressing |
"Mr. Price said he wants the city to create an ordinance or strengthen one that prohibits public lewdness. Such a rule would affect mainly young adults and children, some of whom get their pants several sizes too big to achieve the saggy effect."

...their clothing, will the city of Dallas be "pressing" charges?

9. Uh, does anyone who isn't bored stiff with themselves actually care |
what anyone else wears? People who care what someone else wears have too much time on their hands and too little imagination to fill it.

10. methinks it's much too 'black' for someone's delicate sensibilities |
they *might* have a case if people's bare asses were hanging out - but underwear? i don't think so. i'll hazard someone is afraid of 'negroes'.

14. Methinks you've hit the nail far too neatly on the head. |
And ... how un-PC of you to do so - in public no less - mwahahahaha. I mean, uh, what's the phrase? Oh yes, "It's just not done my dear!" Personally, if you really think about it, even bare asses hanging out wouldn't make their case. Have you ever seen those plumber dudes who can't keep their ass-cracks from riding out of their pants - while the family stands around wringing their hands in awe and despair? No problem there though.
