I got called for a HORRIBLE walmart poll
Chicago's mayor daley is on walmart's side. some computer called me and asked me if I would take a poll and it would only take a few seconds. The question was something like "mayor daley wants to save jobs and tax revenue by vetoeing the big box ordinance. If you want to save jobs and tax revenue press one if you do not press 2. I pressed 2 so hard my finger almost fell off. And you know whick finger I was pressing it with!

1. Gotta love those push polls
Do you support neverending patriotic warfare in the middle east or do you eat live kittens three times a day?

6. That's pretty overt

8. It's called a "Push Poll"
a political message disguised as a poll. They don't necessarily care about the results of the poll, the "poll" is an end in itself.

The Truth about Push Polls:

<snip>

Push polls mislead the public, and not just about the opponent. They even mislead the public about what they are; callers claim they are conducting a poll when all they are doing is spreading negative information. But sometimes, charges of push polling are also misleading. Respondent - and pollster - beware.
