Nancy Grace Equates Transexuals with Child Molesters/Killers

Got to post this on the fly - busy looking for a new job and finding a new home - but I want to start a discussion of Nancy Grace's disgraceful conclusion on her "show" last night that suspected JonBenet Ramsey killer Karr is a transexual (which equals gay which equals child molester which equals child murderer). Grace and her guests were making unsupported accusations that Karr "wants to be a woman" and was "attracted" to child beauty queens because they're "everything he isn't". For Grace's (and everyone else's) information, transexuals and gays are not the same thing and neither transexuals nor gays are more likely (in fact we're much less likely) to be pedophiles than straight men. This is outrageous, unprofessional, disgraceful behavior on Grace's part and she and the producers of her show owe the GLBT community a huge apology.

nancy Grace is on TV because the high concept of the show is putting someone with Histrionic Personality Disorder on the tube. I suspect that her ratings are of sufficiently low numbers that she really does not factor into anything but excited electrons.

9. I actually watched the program and she didn't equate the two.

I watched it (I like to see her eyes pop out of her head from time to time) and they were discussing the information that's already out there about this guy. In no way did she link transexuals to being pedophiles.

no, dear. i have the show on tivo. the transcript is flawless. i don't even see a spelling error, which you DO usually see.

the fact is that the original poster lied. why? because he/she knew that no one here would look it up or research it. the only exercise many DUers get is jumping to conclusions. oh - and bashing as many women as possible, whether it's the mother of a murdered child or a TV host. doesn't matter.
