If you are going to complain about being "surrounded by idiots (plural)," don't write "idiot's" (possessive). Back to 6th grade with you, freeper lady. A plural noun does not take an apostrophe. You also don't stick capital letters in the middle of a word ("SuRRounded").

But when you are rapidly typing to post something on the Internet you might just get sloppy. On the other hand, if you are going to be making posters that will be seen by a lot of people (and that could make you look stupid), you should be damn sure you've spelled everything correctly. Since it takes time to take out your magic markers and make a big poster, you have time to think about what you're writing. So if you've misspelled something there, it probably means you just don't know any better.
