You do know why the Fox "reporters" were released...right? |
|
After their captors heard them spewing their right-winged bullshit, they figured they would do more harm here in America than it would be for them to be killed. Or, after hearing them talk their captors figured they weren't real reporters and felt like shit for wasting their time capturing comedians.

1. Or a lot of the "insurgents" in Iraq are working for the US gov't and |
|
accidently got those faux reporters and we told to release them.

faux news reporters... I loved the snip where they had to pledge their allegience to allah.. the newsmongers were sure to add this lovely detail.

3. After hearing one of them talk today |
|
...I'm not willing to jump all over them just because they're associated with FAUX. He basically pleaded with other journalists not to stop covering Gaza because of what happened to them, saying the Palestinians are beautiful, kind people and their story deserves to be told. He sounded like an okay dude to me.

He didn't have to say that. I bet he did it to help diffuse the situation as best he could. I admire that.

11. Good point. I don't think Steve and Olaf really knew who was behind... |
|
... their abduction.
Does anyone remember the story of a couple of British commandos dressed as Arabs being caught about to blow something up in Iraq? The Iraqis arrested and imprisoned them. Lo' and behold, a day or so later, a couple of British tanks turned up to help them smash their way 'out of Dodge'.
All I am saying is that you can't take anything reported on the MSM at face value.
As a quite serious aside, I'm glad they are alive, well, and headed back home to their families.

4. I think they convinced them |

that if they let them go, they would actually have more prisoners. Sort of like a Laffer curve for terrorist kidnappings.

The fox might have made something up? No way! They are too fair and unbalanced for that.

10. Now that they love Allah, Bush wants them back. |
|
You did know that Bush is doing everything to help the cause, right? Like the pretense about trying to capture bin Laden, pretending to help New Orleans, all the rest?
