GOP thieving and neglect more damaging than any terrorist group!
Pogo was right. We have met the enemy and it really is us. America let this all happen by not exercising due diligence and supervising our government. GOP has allowed more damage from neglect and diversion of funds than any terrorist group. America is crumbling around our heads.

Meeting of engineers on the state of America's deteriorating infrastructure

A pipeline shuts down in Alaska. Equipment failures disrupt air travel in Los Angeles. Electricity runs short at a spy agency in Maryland.

None of these recent events resulted from a natural disaster or terrorist attack, but they may as well have, some homeland security experts say. They worry that too little attention is paid to how fast the country's basic operating systems are deteriorating.

"When I see events like these, I become concerned that we've lost focus on the core operational functionality of the nation's infrastructure and are becoming a fragile nation, which is just as bad — if not worse — as being an insecure nation," said Christian Beckner, a Washington analyst who runs the respected Web site Homeland Security Watch (www.christianbeckner.com).

...

"If a terrorist group were able to knock the NSA offline, or disrupt one of the nation's busiest airports, or shut down the most important oil pipeline in the nation, the impact would be perceived as devastating," Beckner said. "And yet we've essentially let these things happen — or almost happen — to ourselves."

Spent into the poorhouse, debtor nation to China, spied on and abused by an IMPERIAL PRESIDENCY, and our infrastructure is crumbling so much it puts us at more risk than any terrorist group could ever manage.

The GOP has opened the doors to the robbers and the Vandals while chastising us for not being afraid enough of dark bearded men in far off places. They have torn the Bill of Rights to shreds and used it to wrap the bundles of cash they are handing out to their corporate sponsors.

Pogo was right. And Andy Capp said it with a satire:
What's good for General Bullmoose, is good for the USA

And NOTHING is better than it was six years ago. The house if falling apart and the drunk is spending the family budget showing the rest of the boys what a big man he is.

America, save America. The GOP has to be swept from the Hill. Elections have to be monitored and seriously challenged if they fall short of fair and honest.

The delivery system of the lifestyle we hold so dear is about to collapse from neglect.

We are ALL gonna be Katrina Victims pretty damn soon.

Get the tools and fools out of office.

1. It won't be long before Sally Struthers will be doing informercials...
with the starving children of New York, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, begging China and India to feed the starving, American children.

2. Wonder how the 'We're #1!' shouting crowd will like being 3rd World
Wonder how long before they notice.

Did you see the NY Times article about wages failing as production rises? The Lords of Corporation have done a fair job of returning us to the Dark Feudal Ages.
