The charges in California are misdemenors not felonies. He won't get bail because he skipped out, but I doubt that if he's found guilty that he will serve any hard time.

Besides, he now has a perfect defense, he's nuts!!!! Only a real batshit crazy nut would admit to a murder that he had nothing to do with.

7. It's fascinating to me that with all the speculation in this forum...

that somehow Karr was related to a large Rove-inspired media conspiracy to cover up one week's worth of bad Bush news (as if the other 51 weeks of bad news this last year weren't adequate) that this article, which explains precisely how this entire fiasco came to be, has largely been ignored.

So - other than the obvious reason that people don't give two shits about this story, why would the conspiracists ignore black and white information placed before them?
