KABC radio host apologizes for Bush vote
http://www.kabc.com/mcintyre/listingsEntry.asp?ID=432586&PT=McIntyre+in+the+Morning

I'm on the East Coast, so I don't know anything about this guy. But whether he's a reformed RW or a liberal in disguise, he's speaking the truth here.

1. He's full of shit when he says "the Democrats are equally bankrupt."
And this all isn't Bush**'s failure, either. It's the failure of the conservative philosophy.

2. They let themselves off the hook by blaming Dems when the fact is they
never LISTENED to what the Democrats were saying when they were countering Bush and offering alternatives, so they end up parroting the rest of the RW media talking points.

3. We have been through this ...
at least three times on this site ... This guy is not the least bit "reformed" ... As noted above, he is one of COUNTLESS conservatives/republicans who have supported this clown and his cabal for FAR to long, only to turn 100 percent on him, while at the same time doing the WEAK "them there democrats are just as bad" meme ...

Make no mistake ... It was ABUNDANTLY clear that Bushco was a disaster waiting to happen in 1999 ... To not see it reveals only a complete lack of common sense and reason ... To see it and support the puke then, let alone YEARS of his cabal running the country into the ground, reveals a partisanship that checks any sense of national responsibility ...

This guy WILL support the next republican/conservative puppet that is foisted to the head of the ticket ...

4. Agreed. Again, Bush** is not a failure.
His administration has been enormously successful at achieving the objectives of the conservative agenda.

By claiming "Bush** is failure" suggests that some other RWer - McCain, or Frist, or George Allen, or some other freak - could do better. Nothing could be more wrong. Every failure of this administration is a failure of the fundamental conservative philosophy, that government is bad. It's a failure of the YOYO Party - you're on your own.

6. You're right
Bush is the Worst President Ever, because he has succeeded in implementing all his policies. Those policies are a complete disaster.

5. Expect more of this through the November elections and continuing
into the 2008 Presidential election cycle.

Bush Republicans will continue to distance themselves from the man and his policies and inaction by apologizing for their vote for him, and explaining how he does not truly represent the best in the Republican party. Disavowing him is their only way to salvage Republican chances to retain power, so that's what they'll do. NONE of them is going to concede an inch to Democrats or to Democratic positions. Not. One.

While we continue to focus on Bush, we play into their "strategery." Bush Republicans are the problem going into November's election and beyond, and we have to nail them to the wall in front of the electorate, despite their apologies and protestations that "they were wrong", or "this isn't the guy I thought I was voting for".

Bush Republicans

7. Yup. "Vote for us! We can do a better job of ignoring the needs..."
"...of Americans who make less than a million dollars a year!!"
