Tracking Senators on the Secret Hold - need DU help |
|
In my meandering yesterday I came across a web site that is urging people to call their Senators and ask them if they are responsible for the secret hold on the legislation that would create a searchable database of government contracts, grants, insurance, loans and financial assistance, worth $2.5 trillion last year. I stumbled into this site late last night and fully intended to call my whacked out, neocon asswipe Senators, McConnell and Bunning today but can't find where to report in after calling.
Has anybody seen that site? They are asking everyone to call, ask their Senators' offices if they are responsible for the secret hold and if they deny placing the hold ask them if they are willing to go on record as not placing that hold. They then want everyone to report back to the web site. These asswipes are trying to hide behind secrecy again but wonder if they "will go on record" for a constituent?
You know this would rattle some cages with some of these people. Who will and who won't "go on the record?" With the way DC is leaking like a sieve these days it is bound to give them pause. Not only that, the ones who didn't place the hold are going to be extrmely pissed at the Senator who did since he or she has drawn all of them into the fray but hiding behind the secret hold.
If you don't know the web site, anyone interested in getting the project going here?
