This is EXCELLENT! but I need some DU help
I am so sending this to everybody I know, but I want to make sure it is accurate - don't want the repukes on my list picking it apart (well at least the one that DOES have critical thinking skills - the others are sheep)

What a resume!

6. Hi Kali. Gawd, this document makes me want to puke.

I keep having to pinch myself to realize that this man is the leader of the most powerful country in the free world!

"There has to be a pony in here somewhere."

(Do you know that joke? If not, here it is:)

There is an old story about a little boy who was always optimistic. He always found the good side of everything. He drove people crazy. One day his parents decided to teach him that sometimes bad things happened without a good side. So on his birthday they filled his room with horse manure.

The little boy jumped in with great abandon and started searching. When asked what he was looking for he replied, "with all this manure there has to be a pony in here somewhere!"

7. Add something about number of signing statements.
"I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history." Do you know the who's who of that statement?

A kick to follow the thread.

The Unitary Executive: Is The Doctrine Behind the Bush Presidency Consistent with a Democratic State?
By JENNIFER VAN BERGEN

snip...

President Bush has used presidential signing statements more than any previous president. From President Monroe's administration (1817-25) to the Carter administration (1977-81), the executive branch issued a total of 75 signing statements to protect presidential prerogatives. From Reagan's administration through Clinton's, the total number of signing statements ever issued, by all presidents, rose to a total 322.

In striking contrast to his predecessors, President Bush issued at least 435 signing statements in his first term alone. And, in these statements and in his executive orders, Bush used the term "unitary executive" 95 times. It is important, therefore, to understand what this doctrine means.

I just finished reading a book by Jennifer Van Bergen & it was great. Can't think of the name right now, though. ;)

9. I could be wrong but I don't think the U.S. was ever a
member of the World Court. I am positive that the Chief Chimp in Charge refused to take part though because he possibly would have had to stand trial.

They keep talking about how he runs the White House like a Business.
Yeah, a business like Harkin, the one he cashed in and then let go bankrupt.

17. I would use Snopes.com to check these facts
I also saw something very similar to this a couple of years back and when I started sending it around, someone "snopesed" it and a couple of things weren't entirely accurate so I would make sure you make sure everything is correct. I will be happy to forward it to everyone on my list, including my old next door neighbors, who are die-hard life long repukes.
