It's really not about Democrats vs Republicans...it's about America |
|
So long as Bush and Rove can divide this country into Dems and Repubs, then they are capable of sustaining their chokehold on this country. When people can look at the damage done without partisan glasses, then it will be much easier to throw these rascals out. They depend on division to maintain power. They use the partisanship of political Party to divide. Once we can overcome that tendency to always make it a Democrat vs Republican issue, then we will be much stronger for it. America needs the Democratic Party at this time. However, the people will recognize that much more clearly if Bush and Rove are not permitted to use Party labels to divide. We should call for uniting this country. That could be a dagger to their hearts. That is the one issue for which they have no defense.

2. I don't think many fall for the dem vs repub division... |
|
it is more a division between liberal and conservative and Rove and ilk have defined them brilliantly.
Godly vs Godless
Moral vs Immoral
Elitist vs Pragmatic
Lazy vs Hard-working
Brave vs Cowardly
Patriotic vs Traitorous
etc....
Even among DUers the division is apparent. Of course the truth is usually opposite of the framing but many of us still fall for it.
