Anyone remember how Bush didn't know what "sovereignty" meant

I was watching CSPAN back in 2004 I think it was and a reporter asked President DimSon something related to the sovereignty of the Native American people....

And it became obvious in an instant that the guy had NO FRICKING CLUE what the word meant :rofl:

He said something like "Umm...ah ..heh..heh-the sovereignty of the Native American people....is ...well you know....its um...ah..its sovereign..., because sovereignty is sovereign"

And then he dithered on in the same vein for like 5 minutes about how sovereignty is sovereign....

It amused me no end back then, cause I thought he was gonna be out in a few months :-/....

Now I just think its mostly sad...Seriously, how can the self-proclaimed leader of the "free world", the POTUS not know what sovereignty means? Its just embarassing......

but thats pretty fricking dumb :)!

I guess thats the transcript cleaned up by the media...I also remember the original being peppered with many more ums and ahs and hehes....It he took him like 5 minutes to even get this garbage out.
