OK I just have to put this out there. I am on the west coast, and have been suffering from insomnia tonight. So I have been here reading. It is very clear to me that we are going into Iran. The elites best possible bet is regime change and sock puppet in Iran to secure dollar supremacy. They will not get UN support for sanctions or military action because of the economic interests of China and Russia. They won't get support from the American people either, regardless of what the "polls" are telling you; Americans are pissed and they are scared. If the REAL truth were known I would bet **'s true approval ratings are in the 20's (and that group is brain dead). There is no way they are going to WMD the public into supporting another war, not gonna happen, their credibility is shot. The only thing they can do is stage another false flag terrorist attack to traumatize the people.

Or MIHOP some sort of martial-law inducing event. That is why they have been spying on everyone. They want to know whose gonna cause trouble, spread information, and organize. Maybe someone should figure out why they want google searches from June and July of 05, hell maybe I will go look after I am done posting this, and try to figure it out.

Seriously though it is a forgone conclusion IMO. Going into Iran that is. All this bullshit about nuclear talks with the EU is just a front. They are trying to negotiate a deal for oil trades. They are obviously at an impasse.

5. Hitting Iran after getting 'hit' here would solve lost of junta problems

Take all the GOP scandals off people's minds.

Give reason for the Martial Law they have already decided upon.

Prop up the dollar.

Prop up Wall Street.

One more land grab to assure profitable pipeline routes for gas & oil.

Assure ALL $$ the government takes in from the taxes paid by the working class gets siphoned to the corporations in the Military Industrial Complex. They don't like spending on infrastructure and services for the regular citizenry.

Assures there is no future for young Americans besides signing up for military service, where they do not have civil rights to worry about losing.

Gives them clout to totally eliminate dissent.

Cuts down on the number of people living to ripe old age and needing care from the system instead of being healthy and strong enough to be exploited.

Gives the whacko far right, hate filled pretenders/self proclaimed xians a Crusade to get happy about.

Makes Likud REAL happy which probably makes Abramoff real happy, in or out of jail.

Gives the war mongers the chance to come all over their big weapons.

Blows the topic of Global Warming off the table. More worry about Nuclear Winter.

Assures more terrorist created by all the hundreds of thousands of kin of innocent victims swearing eternal enmity to the US. Which keeps the all the above items going for generations.

At this point in time, it looks like they may have an international coalition this time. Therefor, they won't need a 9/11 size trigger, but they will need a justification for the possibility of a nuclear option. Which again, may largely depend on the size of the said coalition.
