Katrina quandary. Why did it take a year? Have I been sleeping or
did the coverage slip into a screen saving sleep this past year? If yes, was it on demand? From the WH? Did they save the coverage until now because they knew that x per cent of viewers would be interested, but weren't before? I'm unable to get the time to watch much, unfortunately, - but I'm amazed at what I'm learning.

I appreciate all the numbers ... the statistics. I had no idea so many are so low when they should be high amid pathetically high when they should be low.
I thank those who educated me with a crunch of programs even if it was GE, Time-Warner, or Mr. Murdoch and even it it took an anniversary.

I'm especially grateful to Amy Goodman, Spike Lee, Greg Palast, and all their support teams and teams like them on link and fstv who haven't waited for an anniversary.

Most of all, I am grateful for the testimonies and for sharing the pain and humiliation. I am grateful to those who agreed to be filmed. For what it's worth, I believe a war was declared on you. In our own country, a segment of our citizens were targeted. I hope not. I am grateful for anyone who will get their case jump started because of the coverage. I grieve if it will take another anniversary for some.

The question now is will GE, Time-Warner, and Mr. Murdoch go into a sleep mode again and will they or will they not report on what George is or is not going to follow through on. I assume he promised something or everything.

So the question is will he keep promises to the people of Louisiana or Mississippi and in the end confess that he always gets those two States mixed up?
