Poll: Katherine Harris has IMPLODED, Nelson leads 63%-20%! ANNIHILATION!
Edited on Wed Aug-30-06 06:10 AM by Grebrook
Republican polling firm Strategic Vision's latest Florida poll has finally broken the 3-to-1 mark in the Florida senate race. Bill Nelson leads Katherine harris more than 3-to-1, at 63%-20%.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_United_States_Senate_election%2C_2006
http://strategicvision.biz/political/florida_poll_083006.htm

The Poll also shows that Nelson will win no matter who the nominee is. Republicans nominating someone else won't matter, Nelson trounces them 58%-22%. A full 61% of voters have an unfavorable view of Katherine Harris, and only 17% have a favorable view.

alternative GOP candidates? LOL

2. I am really going to be sad when she drops out of public life.
She's a very funny lady, and she will be missed.

(I feel like I'm talking about Gilda Radner!)

3. Sorry, but you're wrong.
She hasn't spent all of Daddy's $10 million yet.

When that's gone, it will officially be over.

Until then, keep up the good fight and write those checks, Katherine.

PS -Moxie and Spunk are with you all the way.

Bwahahahahahahahaha.

4. Had to go to wiki to find out he's a democrat...
(probably common knowledge, but not immediately apparent on his own website - i think that's slightly peculiar)

...one of few Dems who voted for CAFTA, voted for tighter bankruptcy restrictions and abolishing the estate tax.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Nelson
However, he has authored legislation that will ease the ban on import of prescription drugs from Canada.
http://www.nelsonforsenate.com/

He probably benefits from an "anyone but Harris" attitude among voters.

21. Now is the time to approach her, point out BushBros abandoned her, and ....
...help her avoid jail time for taking bribes in the Cunningham case on the condition that she make a full and public disclosure of her role in and what she knows about how the Florida election was stolen. Name names, dates, provide complete information on surviving documentation of the theft and if the documentation has been destroyed tell how that was accomplished and who was involved. Any lie or shading of the truth and in the slammer she goes.

She deserves to serve hard time for what she has done to our country. But you always have to allow a few culpable individuals "get out of jail free" in order to reach the top of the criminal enterprise. I could live with cooperating fully, writing a book about it, and making a living on the talk show circuit IF AND ONLY IF she brings down the Bush Bros once and for all.

She should see the handwriting on the wall now regarding her failed campaign, and it could not be any clearer that the Bush Brothers and their corrupt henchmen have abandoned her after she so ably served their nefarious deeds in the stolen Florida election.

If she does not take this opportunity to save herself by making it all public, she may become a "victim" of suicide or some other ghastly end as long as she is a threat to disclose what she knows.

10. It really is amazing that they don't have a better candidate to ...
run for the senate. The GOP is so busy trying to hold on to power and fighting each other for state control that no one wants to bother running a losing race. The Florida GOP is split into two camps, the Jeb Bush camp against everybody else.

17. Either new position or new title in her campain...
After her last gaffe...the one about how Church and State should NOT be separate
(and I fully agree...as long as it's MY church :sarcasm:)
her campaign manager's title should be 'Damage Control Ops' or something like that.

Can't make up my mind whether she deserves a raise for having to spin increasingly off-the-wall behavior...
or no sympathy whatsoever for signing on with Ms. Harris.

18. Katherine is a real nutcase
but Bill Nelson is not the best of Democrats. He's just the best we've got right now who can win. It is fun watching KKKatherine and her nutty campaign. Nobody supports her and now her family is steamed at her blowing all their cash on her quixotic campaign. Soon she will be pushing a grocery cart around Bradenton, talking to herself and collecting cans.

20. quixotic
that is the word for this campaign. Masochistic, narcissistic, bizarrely futile. Anyone sane would have bagged it long ago. But the Repukes would have cheerfully propped her up if she wasn't quite so obvious a nutcase. Never mind that she has zero leadership potential and would be totally incompetent. That's not a problem in Bushworld if it can be disguised long enough to get elected.

is she had to give up her House seat...the thought that this woman who played such a major role in stealing the 2000 election being in the House made me ill - she belongs in prison not the House or the Senate....

Down 40 points on election day, Harris will reverse it and Nelson will lose by 40 points----THE CORPORATE NEWS MEDIA WILL BE SHOCKED!

HOWEVER, IT IS EXPLAINED THAT HARRIS WAS AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE AND SUPPORTED BUSH'S IRAQ WAR --- SO NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE TO THE MEDIA!

REPUBLICANS SAY NO DIEBOLD FRAUD---JUST SOUR GRAPES BY DEM'S!
