Yesterday morning as I was tooling about town and scanning through the radio, I glanced on Imus, just enough to catch a snippet that almost made me drive off the road in astonishment. They were doing one of the fake Irish bishop gags that they do frequently where Imus sidekick Bernie says a series of fun and outrageous comments (or what they think are fun and outrageous comments) which are then answered by Imus and group answering "Lord, hear our prayer." I did not hear the lead-up or the total comment, but one involved Hillary Clinton, whom Bernie referred to as "a tuna-licking t**t". I am not making this up! If anyone else heard this, please confirm.

Can you imagine if anyone ever dared to refer to Laura Bush or ANY other female in the world in terms like this? This is how they refer to a former First Lady and serving Senator of the United States of America in what is supposedly a fairly mainstream program?! Imus frequently has guests like Joe Biden, John Kerry,Barack Obama, Harold Ford Jr.,etc. Should any Democrat or even just any morally responsible person ever appear on this show? Are there any boundaries whatsoever when it comes to bashing Democrats?
