So has Air America become as feckless as NPR?
With the firing of Mike Malloy (who was hardly even on the L.A. affiliate anymore), does this leave Randi as the "toughest" remaining host? Sam Seder? Or is it all becoming too "congenial" now?

9. She could be next...
Mike is gone and talk of Sam going, sounds like AAR is getting rid tough people.

12. Won't happen. They love her and she gets the listeners. Good ratings.
And Sam is not going — he's getting a better timeslot at 9-noon.

2. Seder's under attack by the DLC masterminds behind AAR

I signed a petition to try to save "The Majority Report."

Feckless is an apt description.

4. MMs site says it was a FINANCIAL decision
Either he wanted more dough, or they don't have enough to pay him as it is. Take your pick.

I'm guessing the former.

7. Financial reasons? HA!
What cowards are these folks, the price of getting up in NY. This is going to be soooooo boring. Yes Malloy gets a little hot. Considering how lethargic the public is, he is badly needed. Randi will be next, once the new religious show gets more hours and she is reduced to two then one hour.

14. Beats me, but I can't stand Malloy much...
he may be "tough," but he's another screamer with little actual substance. Same formula as the rightwing screamers.

What's the point of having an AAR if it just preaches to the choir and turns off the fencesitters and annoys those leaning right without giving them anything to think about?

I may be missing something here, but I thought AAR was supposed to be smarter than rightwing radio, not louder.

16. Mike, apparently, was too substantive.
This is why he was fired. Not for screaming.
