And I like it better with just Reilly now. I can't imagine he'll be any better by himself.

If his schtick is to be a comedian, fine. But I listen to AAR and talk radio to hear about politics, just as I listen to sports talk radio to hear sports. If I want to hear a guy talk about being a comedian, I'll turn to a station that would cater to such shows or subscribe to Sirius to hear Howard Stern or the Raw Dog station.

It was BO-RING ... All he did was talk about himself and HIS interests and HIS career and HIS Hollywood pals. Not half as good as "Sedition" used to be, because HE DIDN'T DO THE BITS ... and then he criticized Stephanie Miller for doing a "more light-hearted show" ... Well, at least hers isn't BORING, MR. MARON! If he'd brought back Lawton Smalls and Butch the Cat a bit more often, I wouldn't have stopped listening to his new show.

Putting him in Malloy's slot would be absolute ... SOMINEX.

5. Well That's Good!

I prefer him...I used to love that opener on his old show with the Chili Peppers riff! I liked both hosts but thought they would do better on their own. Their styles didn't quite mesh.

7. When Maron was on with Sam Seder yesterday.....

..it almost seemed as though Sam was dropping hints that the guy would be back on the air, but I thought at the time that he was suggesting they might be doing a show together.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Without Mike Malloy, I couldn't give a flying fuck who is on Air DLC. No offense to Sam or Randi, but their heads will be next on the chopping block.

Sam is taking over the noon - 3 (Eastern) slot and there is no way Randi's getting canned. Her show is being cut back by one hour (from 4 ... no one else on AAR has 4 hours).

I rarely listend to Morning Sedition but there is just NO comparison between Mike Malloy and Marc Maron for what we listen to AAR for - and that is left wing talk radio....

since the entire reason Maron wasn't able to negotiate a return was because he wanted to be paid to compensate for the runaround he has been given, in order to return to NYC.

Ok, I like Malloy and I know that this is devastating for so many... I don't want this to be at his expense.

But forgive me if this rumor about Maron returning absolutely thrils me! Morning Sedition was my fav AAR show--one that actually had me setting the alarm for 4am in Denver to hear it.
