KO just let loose a beautiful diatribe against the real "fascists". |
|
The hubris of Rumsfeld, what country did he grow up in, what heroes did he have? Can we not simply ask for a receipt for the Emporer's new clothes???
Go Keith. Thank you. Good night and good luck.

He was the first head of the air force, retired during Viet Nam. He was Barry Goldwater's running mate. During the Republican Convention of - Oh, '68 I think it was, - he had guys at their convention with axes ready to cut the cables for the TV networks if there was any agitation during the Goldwater nomination. No shit.
He was fucking nuts. Wanted to nuke virtually everyone.

13. LeMay ran as George Wallace's running mate in 68 |
|
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_LeMayAnyone who has watched Thirteen Days has some idea of how thoroughly psychotic he was. He was also the inspiration for General Buck Turgidson (George C.Scott) in Dr Strangelove
