Global Warming message - It's working!

We have regular "email flamewars" at work,just to break the tension. It's all in good fun. We all like and respect each other, so anything said during the "flamewars" is considered just "part of the game" and we are all still friends in the real world.

Of course, part of our "flame wars" was the subject of Global Warming.

Someone sent out a link to an article on how much money you can save by using Compact Flourescent Lightbulbs. Several GW-deniers admitted that they had already switched to CFL's and praised them.

The conversation then switched to electric cars, the new Tesla in particular. But even the strongest Bush apologist said that he would go for a hybrid as his next choice, and would prefer a fully electric car for his next purchase. Another person sent out an email entitled "the next step" with a link to TN Green Power Switch. This person had also expressed doubts about GW in the past.

We are making a difference. One household at a time.

I haven't convinced thm to vote Democratic yet, but they are embracing Democratic vslues.
