When a repricklican is the victim of election fraud... |
|
Local race, 70,000 votes cast, she loses by 400 votes.
"I demand a recount!", so she gets one. She picks up a whopping 7 votes. Still not satisfied, she's demanding a special election, which of course, is bullshit, as there is no way to prove who voted and who didn't.
"Sharon Angle, a Conservative you can trust!", at least that's what she said on the tube.
Funny, she got a TON of money from rove's connections, outspent her opponent 2 to one. Her first commercial she comes out and says " We must continue fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here"
Freaking hag. I can't believe anyone would vote for *that*.
So now she's furious, claiming she had the election stolen from her. I wonder how she felt when the idiot son stole at least one election, and possibly two. Probably first in line saying "Get over it"
I'm fucking delighted. The bushbot didn't lose by as much as I would have liked, but considering she was being called a shoe-in, I'll take it.

What a shame.

I just voted in the dem primary. Used an electronic voting machine, a nice one with a printer that shows you the printed record and prompts you to confirm that the printed record is accurate before registering your vote. I'm sure the repubs used the same machines.
No, the problem was the this hag is screaming that voters who wanted to vote were somehow denied the opportunity to cast their ballots (or some such nonsense.) I may be wrong, but I'm sure her beef has nothing to do with the machines.

NO recounts on the diebold machines. Not a problem when the bastards are stealing elections, but maybe a problem when they eat their own.

9. Uh, we should be happy about this |
|
It improves Jill Derby's chances in November. She's our candidate in district 2, by far the best Democratic nominee we've had in that huge and heavily rural district. The GOP has a 48,000 vote registration edge so it's damn near impossible for a Democrat. Jim Gibbons gave up the seat to run for gov this year and is the Republican nominee and favorite.
John Ensign and almost every top Republican is miffed at Angle's position and tried to talk her out of it. Dean Heller, who won the primary, is stymied by the Angle manuever and he's already behind in fund raising. Meanwhile, Derby is running commercials.
Angle was never a shoe-in. Heller was the favorite and Angle narrowed the gap until it was considered close to a tossup on primary day, and turned out that way. Derby would probably have a better chance to defeat the wingnut Club for Growth Angle, but since Heller is going to be the nominee the best scenario we can root for is this to drag on and on...

Thank you for all the informattion. I was sure Angle had the edge all along, but considering how well informed you are, I'll happily say I was wrong.
I honestly don't understand how anyone could ever vote for a bushbot drone who comes out with the "fight them over there" bullshit. Unreal.
