Will Bush get booed by the American Legion?? |
|
Anyone? He's handpicked this crowd to spread around his bullshit. He's afraid. He's very, very, very afraid. He doesn't want any investigations. He doesn't want the truth to come out. He must maintain a majority. He must campaign harder....harder...harder...

These guys passed out and wore ear covers last year - On them it read "Bullshit protectors"
I am a disabled vet, and these OLD WW2 guys know what war is, and they know when we should go, as I sit and wait for an appointment at a VA hospital the waiting rooms just explode when FOX news has Bush speeches on...

chances now what with the elections coming up and all the resistance he's been getting lately.

7. VFW had the ear protectors |
|
This is the American Legion. One degree of seperation IMO, and this busted up old draftee views the American legion with a jaundiced eye.

8. I agree. The VFW is far more 'liberal' than the American Legion. |
|
I could spray a firehose into an American Legion meeting without getting a liberal wet ... but the VFW is far closer to the demographics of the whole country.

10. Now that it's over, I'd say he got good-n-jeered, kentuck. |
|
I would say at least 30% of the crowd wasn't havin' it.
When he claimed "we will stay in Iraq until victory is achieved" the jeering was almost at the same level as the smattering of applause.
