Sure, Brian Williams did a good job with the Bush interview on Tuesday |
|
But I still would've liked to have had him ask Il Duce:
1) On 9/11, you did nothing after being told by your Chief of Staff, Andy Card, that "we are under attack." Why is that?
2) The bin Laden family has been business partners with your family for decades. Does this relationship factor in to the fact that OBL has not been caught and that you really don't have any intention on catching him?
3) 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 carried Saudi passports. Why did you not order a bombing and invasion of that country to catch OBL? What made you believe the Saudis had nothing to do with the attack?
4) Why did you fly all of OBL's relatives out of the US before they could be questioned?
I don't understand why these questions are not being asked when a reporter and Bush get into an informal one-on-one-type interview. I think Bush would have a very difficult time trying to evade these types of questions like he can do with scripted WH press conferences...:grr:

1. *'s non answers on all the other questions were not enough? |
|
Williams asked a lot of tough questions, and * immediately went elsewhere with his answers.

2. That was most welcomed, but I still want to hear it from Bush's mouth... |
|
Why he did nothing on 9/11 Why he flew OBL's family out of US Why he didn't go after SA when it was obvious Saudis were involved
I want him to acknowledge himself his family's relationship with the bin Laden family...
I want to hear his explanations emanate from his own smarmy lips...
And these one-on-one interviews would be the perfect time and opportunity to ask such questions.

very edited. I myself cannot stand to watch the asshole, So I will take Jim Ward's word that Williams and NBC made tha asshole look better than he probably really was.
