and remember it isn't personal, its political. Mike lays it all out there every night. He's got the guts to say things out loud that other people don't. He will bounce back and we'll find him again.

The truth always comes out in the end. It's just too hard for some people to take at first, so they blame the messenger.

Speak out even though your voice shakes and you feel afraid.

1. I've been trying to follow the situation about Malloy ...

and I gotta ask - how do you know it's political?

I'm asking because people have been making all sorts of posts about what happened, but I haven't seen a story, link, etc that proves anything.

I'm not playing devil's advocate or anything ... I just want the facts.

What you advise is excellent advice. Mike always said he didn't have answers. But he speaks the truth and so should we all every chance we get.

6. I won't miss him

My wife and I are die-hard listeners of AAR. But we couldn't listen to Malloy. He was way to over the top. I love being fired up as much as the next guy. But I hated listening to him yell and carry on. I have to think that if you were a casual listener, or just stumbled onto AAR, and heard one his tirades, you'd think he was out of his mind. There are ways to make your point w/o sounding like a fucking lunatic. Give me Thom Hartman any day.

7. I can understand why someone would feel that way

Malloy is an acquired taste. There were some nights when it was just too much. But a lot of the time he really hit the spot, verbalizing things that I couldn't.

Thom Hartman is awesome, and so is Rachel Maddow, but they aren't regulars on my station.

That's why its good that AAR has a range of people. Actually, our local guy is my favorite. There are a couple that are played locally who I can't stand that other people love.

To each their own. For some of us, Mike was like a lullabye.

Revolution. He speaks plainly and with conviction and says those things that may upset certain folks, but are true and need saying nonetheless. I hope Mike gets back on the air (and over the internets) as soon as possible. We need him more now than ever...
