*** LATE AFTERNOON MALLOY UPDATE *** Important note in here... |
|
I'm sure you all know about Mike on Christine Craft's Show and the tiblet that he's already been contacted by 3 organizations.
Two items I won't necessarily say are related...
Remember to write XM - Highvoltage@xmradio.com and TELL THEM you want Mike Malloy on 202 High Voltage as the ONLY UNCENSORED, UNLEASHED POLITICAL TALK SHOW ON RADIO. (no FCC looking down his neck). Remember those words... UNCENSORED, UNLEASHED
The Next 48 hours (between now and Monday) are MUCHO IMPORTANT.
... Carry on, and watch your back.

We pay for 6 different XM radio subscriptions, Malloy on AA is one of the reason we choose to do it for our entire family. Hubby listens to Highvoltage already, don't they do alot of Opie and Anthony reruns?

|
Edited on Thu Aug-31-06 06:04 PM by Rosco T.
8 hours/day of 'live' programming (Mon-Fri) O&A and R&F.. the rest are repeats... 3-4 hour of Mike UNCENSORED AND UNLEASHED would be a welcome addition don't you think?

I've never heard Mike other than on static-y AM stations or less-than-perfect MP3 podcasts.
And the good part is, Canadian XM has High Voltage!

is one of the two satellite radio stations offered these days. Air America originally started with Sirrus Sattelite radio, then switched to XM. I bought XM for Air America (Malloy being one of the reasons). I am sure that he's one of the reasons that many listened to XM as well. Now that he's been fired from AAR, we can now request that he be picked up on another station that XM offers.
Mike Malloy was one of the primary reasons that I subscribed to XM. I have no problem requesting that they offer his great show on another station. AAR is no longer of interest to me...

34. I don't understand where to access "the menu". One day |
|
all these channels appeared on our program guide and I have no idea what they are unless they are explicitly labeled.
How, for example, would I know where Mike is? Only by visiting his site or is there an XMSiteForDummies somewhere?
:)
Thanks.

48. There should be a "menu" button on your radio. |
|
But I have an "XM2go" portable receiver. My "menu" button brings up the configuration menu.
I have a wheel control on the side which allows me to set stations just by twirling the wheel. Alternatively, I can scan channels by group (music type, news, sports, etc.) by pressing the << or >> buttons.
I suggest that you check out the owner manual that came with your receiver.

anywhere he goes, but this XM network is irrelevant, any radio you have to buy has very little following and influence, Howard Stern being the only exception.
Shame we won´t get him for free anymore, a deliberate act before the 9/11 anniversary and the November elections, a victory for the Repugs and their clones in the Democratic Party.

in Sacramento. http://www.kctc.com/Article.asp?id=202793 Yesterday Malloy was on Craft's afternoon program on KSAC.

and works in Sacremento. She is a staunch Democrat, as is her husband. Her Mother-in-Law lives in Sacremento. Sure hope she listens to that station and hears Mike on there. Goodness knows, I've told her about Mike Malloy so many times, and I think she did get to hear him once.

To whom it may concern: My name is ********* and I am a loyal XM radio subscriber. One of the reasons that I subscribe to XM is to hear AirAmerica Radio, and on of the reasons why I wanted to hear AirAmerica radio was Mike Malloy. I was extremely disappointed in AAR's decision to cancel Mike's show, and I have considered canceling my XM subscription in protest. However, it seems to me that High Voltage would be the perfect place to unleash Mike's uncensored commentaries. I can assure you that if you sign Mike Malloy, I will become a dedicated High Voltage listener, and a continued loyal XM subscriber. Please keep up the good work and HIRE MIKE MALLOY!! Thank you, *********
Note to DUers (not in my e-mail): If he conflicts with Rachel Maddow Show, however, Rachel wins. A man's got to have his loyalties. :D
