Before Nov 7th (unleaded reg) gas will be less than $2.00 (and I dont mean $1.99 9) an obvious strategic move by big oil to keep their partners of corruption in power....I'd say somewhere around $1.85 or $1.75 per gal...and then the Repukes will brag about how well their energy legislation is working....

3. Here's How You Can Judge How Bad The Price Manipulation Is |
|
Compare the price of diesel and regular unleaded. They should be the same, or within a couple of cents. The farther apart they are the more the price is being manipulated. Locally the difference is thirty six cents. That is the largest I've seen it yet.

4. Thinking you may be correct |

And THEN we get to ask a lot of embarrassing questions. We start with: So, high fuel costs were said to be due to shortage of refineries. How many new refineries have been built since May 1, 06?
 Not gonna tell them what second question will be.

5. Odd, I was talking with my wife tonight about the small thing |
|
We were on the way to the grocery store and past the gas station with $2.48 and she remarked what is bringing it down so fast, not just the end of Summer driving. I could only comment that the election is coming soon and she just nodded. Best guess on my part is $2.25 which will be and seem to be incredibly cheap when compared with this recent season.
