And I agree. The only thing that has really comforted me in the last 30 years or so, and especially in the last five, is that the general march of humanity is toward progress and inclusion. O sure, there are set backs at times, and can be brutal and scary, but they don't last long.

Here are just some of the conservative ideals that have been discarded along the way:

- The earth is flat. If you sail too far, you'll fall off.

- The sun and all the bodies of heaven revolve around the earth.

- Women are inferior to men (OK, we're still working on this one).

- People of African descent are naturally less intelligent than Northern Europeans. (May still apply in some quarters, sadly)

My point is, THEY CAN'T STOP US! They might slow us down occasionally, but they can't stop us. :woohoo:

So, yeah, great job Mark Morford! :toast:
