I was impressed by the way Norah O'Donnell questioned Harris... |
|
Katherine Harris on Hardball. Figuratively speaking, she grabbed her by the nose and twisted it for the entire segment. She did not cut her any slack and she stayed on track with her questions, and there were many, for the entire interview. I know she gets a lot of flack here but I think she did a good job today.

I'd be more impressed if the interview was with someone other than Katherine Harris. She's too easy a target.

2. Harris is no longer endorsed by PNAC or even the Repubs in general. |

3. Norah is a die hard chimp-licker... |

Cruella is on the BushCo Inc. shit list, even though she was instrumental in getting the chimp into office.

5. I think it fits that Norah would go after Harris. Norah is a joke! |
|
I've never watched Hannity, O'Lielly or any of those right wing flacks on Fox, but I've found watching Norah O'Donnell to be quite entertaining in that "can she possibly be more obvious in her Bushco asskissing?" way. I didn't catch her interview of Harris. No, there is no way I could have even looked at that. But, I did see her interview several people during the week as I channel surfed at 5PM and talk about anti-Democratic leading questions. She is truly laughable. I'm assuming she's being serious, but I really can't tell. She is such a freakin' joke. At least you know what to expect from her. Tweety changes from day to day.
The reason I think it makes sense that she would go after Harris is the fact that others have stated. The Republicans, especially Bushco, want Harris to GO A-WAY. Anything that can be done to demean her is probably in the daily talking points which I'm sure Norah gets.

6. Why would they want her to go away ?? |
|
She, probably more than any other one person, was responsible for Bush being in the White House? Where's the gratitude? Remember, she was the Secretary of State of Florida? I will be thrilled to see her defeated.

10. Oh I remember Florida. That nightmare happened in my backyard. |

Yes, it does seem odd that THE woman who stole the election for them is now such an embarrassment to them that they've begged her to drop out of her race for the Senate. Nothing is as it seems with this whole bunch, so maybe Harris is still being told behind the scenes to fight hard. I don't know. They know she has no chance against Bill Nelson. Hmmm. It was only a couple of years ago that Jebboy bragged that the next Democrat to go down in Florida would be Bill Nelson. Maybe that's why he and Georgie aren't all that crazy about Katharine. They needed someone who could at least get close to Bill Nelson to make sure the "tabulations" would go in their favor. They have absolutely no hope of that with Katharine Harris.
At one time I thought Norah was so cute! I also thought she spoke well and was pretty darn intelligent. I had no idea in the beginning that she was a right wing mouthpiece. I don't mind a journalist or newsperson having a bit of their own slant in their reporting as long as there is at least some attempt at fairness. Norah's loyalties are not only completely obvious, she also comes off like a bad actress. I'm not sure I would like how she interviews on Hardball even if she leaned left.
Norah and Katharine make a great pair. heh I should have tried to stomach that bit of entertainment.

7. I have ZERO respect for Norah O'Donnell. |

http://mediamatters.org/items/200607060011Her horrifying attack on Cindy Sheehan was despicable; I'm surprised you've come to Ms. O'Donnell's defense. Why?

8. In general, I don't trust any of the MSNBC punditry except Keith. |
|
But I do see a leftward drift of late. Maybe somebody higher up has gotten nervous about losing ratings like Fox News is doing. A few days ago Nora was very shrill talking to a Newsweek guy. I don't think any of them have deeply held convictions except Keith. He makes up for all the rest of 'em.
