Because you didn't have a "women are so far above men they should kiss the ground our painted toenails have sanctified" option.

9. I put "Other", because women, as a group, are far superior to |
|
men - and all of us, deep down, know it. I am not being sarcastic or tongue in cheek - women, as a group, are better than men as human beings...it's just a fact...

21. If you look at the research that has been done on matriarchal |
|
societies and compare them to patriarchal societies, you'll find that all of the matriarchal cultures were much more humane than any patriarchal one. I would suggest that the reason for this difference is that women ARE more humane - as a group - than men are. When women have an equal or greater power in society in relation to men, that society is more peaceful, more caring for those in need, less aggressive internally and externally and is very internally stable. I am not putting down men - to say that as a group, men have a larger muscle mass and are taller and run faster is not putting down women, it is just stating fact. The same with women's humanity - women, as a group, are simply more humane, therefore, I think, better human beings.

13. Women's role: Exactly the same as men's. |
|
To educate themselves, to strive to make the world a better place for their children, to parent responsibly, to act according to ethical standards, to contribute economically to the well-being of the society.
That's the role of women in society. It's also the role of men in society.

14. Just for grins, what is a man's role in society? |
|
If you watch TV, it's mostly to chase after sex, brag about skills he hasn't got and get jobs he doesn't deserve, and avoid any and all household responsibilities including the care of elderly parents and sick children.
Thank the gods TV is mostly bullshit, eh?

Equal obviously, but all cultures are created as unequal. We keep trying to fix that by forcing equality into a system that was made to be unequal. Which is why we keep fighting this fight, over, and over, and over, and over. Sure, there's a win here and there, but there's always another problem.
So, like everyone today, a woman's role is to be used as a political tool with which to gain and consolidate power in whatever form that may take. So be glad you can be just like everyone else, just a cog in the machine. You can't create a different reality. Nobody can. So I say welcome female consumer. Our world is all about power, and you just want a piece. Not that I have any, but you could have all of it for all I care. Just allow me the freedom to not have to live within your new system of power. I don't want Men's Suffrage when women take over. I want a different way of being.

18. Women deserve equal rights but women's role in society is not equal. |
|
Women obviously deserve equal rights and the fact that we couldn't agree to place that simple thought in our Constitution speaks rather badly of America as a modern society.
But women are clearly not interchangeable with men. Consider this thought experiment:
1. In society A, kill off all the men but ten.
2. In society B, kill off all the women but ten.
Now, in 100 years, what is the likely population of those two societies?
That's why societies have traditionally been constructed to send the men (and not the women!) off to be killed in wars.

20. Women Are Not Ambulatory Uteruses |
|
Yes, a few men can impregnate untold numbers of women - but repopulation will only happen if the women are willing to remain pregnant.
Men and women are biologically different; that could be one reason why we're called "men" and "women" - ya think? But being able to impregnate/be impregnated isn't something to base one's worth upon.

You're suggesting I said things I didn't. If anything, the undertone of my post was that women are much more valuable to a society than they are commonly given credit for. You should also consult the reference I cited; it would give you a much deeper view of what I'm trying to suggest here.

24. Then you have to hope that women like me aren't included in your |
|
end of world scenario. Yes, I could get pregnant. But you would have to rape me to do it. Factor that little tidbit in your scenario and let me know how it works out for you. Or does it really not matter to you?
FTR, not all women desire to be human incubators.

Want to own up to it? Or, like many in the Klan, do they prefer to act like roaches and hide themselves from the light?
Uh-huh, I thought so.
