I tried copying and pasting one of the urls into my browser address bar..... it still didn't work.
One of the Internets tubes must be plugged up.

31. Firefox is not supposed to have Red X's..., |
|
..., that's not a good sign. In Firefox, it's supposed to look like a small, grey, torn page or torn picture.
If you have have an anti-virus and/or anti-Spyware program, you should probably do a full scan, red x's in Firefox are not normal.

19. I still can't see any of them |
|
When I right-click the little box and select "properties," all the links start with "http://cagle.msnbc.comm..." If I paste that URL into the browser address area, then it tells me "cagle.msnbc.com could not be found." Since some people see them and some don't, I'm guessing from the message I see, that some DNS servers don't have an address for that name.

38. Re: The Red Xs issue, I wonder if it's an Internet cache size setting... |
|
...issue, or maybe it's because of the load time for those without broadband connections.
Maybe you should do some tests or try posting the toons in groups, instead of all at the same time.
What I'm thinking is, because it takes a dial-up user so long for the toons to download, their browser "times out," so none of them show up. :argh:
It's just a guess, maybe I'll PM some of those who had trouble.
