How is it possible to keep up with all the lies from this Administration? |
|
They must stay awake 24/7? Without the media holding their feet to the fire, it is almost impossible for an opposition Party to respond to every lie. Especially since that Party does not have access to the same media, in the same way that the Majority manipulates them.

simply do not get the coverage that conservatives do. The news media (except for some alternative sources) are the lapdogs of the White House.
It's sickening.
However, on a hopeful note, the Internet has had some impact. That's something that did not exist in the past.
Keep on keyboarding, voting, and volunteering for change.
Warm regards,

5. It's partly that the wingnut message is simple and repetitive |
|
No taxes, war good, socialists bad. Makes for good sound bites and headlines. Dem positions are too nuanced for the average reader/viewer. It's a lot easier to say immigrants are stealing our jobs than to have a real discussion of the pros and cons, for instance. Calling it the death tax is easier than debating the propriety of handing millions to kids who didn't earn it.

3. It's not. That's their plan |
|
Commit enough outrages and no one can concentrate on any of them long enough to do anything about them. The only way is to sic a bunch of lawyers on them every couple of days. And we'd run out of lawyers pretty quickly.

4. It would be a lot easier to keep track of when they tell the truth. |
|
It shouldn't be hard to list both cases on a web site somewhere. But here's a resource to help you keep track of some of their lies: http://www.bushlies.net/index.html

7. Lie "B" Overshadows Lie "A" Just As "C" Will Surpass "B" |
|
And you just can't keep up.
The thing is, they aren't lieing at a faster rate now than they have ever been, its just that now more people are seeing the lies for what they are more often.
The corruption has exceeded our ability to describe it. The elephant is to big to name.

8. I use to try to keep a list of lies |
|
kept the list for about 2 years ... too much work and not enough time to keep it going
so I switched over to just keeping a list of the truths. Much easier. Haven't had to make an entry for the past 4 years.
