I Shut Up A Freeper On A Music Board... |
|
Or at least I THINK I did, we shall see.
Anyhow, he was droning on about how the big bad Dems were throwing kindly old Lieberman is "under the bus" oh the disloyal Dems.
Can you believe this guy is from RI so I asked him how he was controlling his outrage that there is an attempt to throw HIS OWN GOP SENATOR "under the bus." I said that I assumed he would be voting for his incumbant Senator to show his party loyalty. Although he's such a RW nutcase he's gotta HATE Chaffee or anybody else even remotely moderate!
No answer so far, LOL.
Anyhow...thanks DU for keeping me up on everything going on in other parts of the country, I do find it comes in handy!

I just can't wait for the day we have a Democratic congress and a Democratic president. We'll be hearing the "pop, pop, pop" of little freeper heads exploding everywhere!

2. Its disturbing how readily Republicans will say that their officials |
|
elected officials, mind you, are entitled to their job.
Bush was doing a shitty job and up for re-election, and Republicans in 2004 always kept talking like running against Bush in the election was almost treason.
And, why do they care if Dem voters selected Lieberman in the primary or not? He's not their guy, supposedly.

is that these rwingers should be hanging their heads in shame about what's gone on in this country since '00, but they're not. They are truly without an original thought from themselves. People thought the selections of the chimp would bring about the downfall of the gop. I don't see it happening.

4. Also, remind him of what his own party is doing for the Republican |
|
nominee in Connecticut. If party loyalty is such an untouchable golden object that he needs to lecture us about, ask him what kind of support the GOP is throwing behind their boy Schlesinger.

Shoot hope he answers but his tendency is to disappear after losing arguments. Don't ask me how he acts when he wins them cuz it hasn't happened yet!

6. I did something similar with Chafee on another board |
|
The wingnuts over there kept bringing up Lieberman as an example of "purging" in the Democratic Party, and I they just turned quiet when I brought up Chafee, and tried to give a lukewarm response when I used the Specter-Toomey race from 2004. The response to that was "yeah, well Bush and Santorum supported Specter, while your party tossed out Lieberman." Of course, this is bullshit, considering that most big name Democrats, including the Clintons, supported Lieberman in the primary.
