Is Rightie Radio turning the Franklin coverup into a Clinton Scandal?
For those who are not up on this scandal here is a link...

http://www.thelawparty.org/FranklinCoverup/franklin.htm

A male prositution ring was working the Reagan/BushI white houses.

I was talking to my rightie co-worker (I think he calls himself a libertarian) and he made a comment to me that Clinton had gay hookers in the white house. He listens to alot of rightie radio at work and I wonder if they are deliberately trying to blur history and make it the the Clinton White House instead of Bush/Reagan white house?

Does anybody know if this is the case?

1. How silly. Clinton is absolutely straight. It's the Bush admin who had gay
hookers in the white house.

2. Gannon the gay hooker visited George W. Bush's WH over 200 times
with quite a few of those visits being overnighters, iirc.
Just remember...if he asserts,he must prove.

3. Why won't you people believe me that libertarians are as bad if
not worse than Republicans? Isn't that new white guy on cable a libertarian? They're like Rush Limbaugh clones.

4. Libertarians HATE liberals
and are against all social responsibiity/accountability. Neocons are always trying to lump the two groups together-no dice.

6. Driving that point in has to be our greatest priority or we're going to
trade evil thing one for evil thing two. We've been suffering under libertarian ideals since the 90s. That was what free market was all about. But people who don't think these things through are going to run from the "Republican" label because it's no longer fashionable, and get caught in the libertarian corner. They'll never even realize that they're still in the same red lobster trap.

Without the highly developed ethical world view one would expect from a true 'Lican.

calls themselves a libertarian. They LOVE to snare in Liberals too, by claiming that they're in favor of decriminalizing drugs. That is only a very small part of what they're really after.

7. The prostitution ring is the least offensive of the deeds in the Franklin
Cover-up. Those same people were stealing young (12 years and less) boys in Nebraska to put into service in similar rings. At least one lawsuit was won against them. There were other stories like this in D.C., a group that called themselves "The Finders" stealing younger children... evil times back then.

Clinton had a stand-up hummer with a 20+ year old girl, who said she wanted before she ever got there. While you could say he should serve some time for stupid, it was technically a legal act. OTOH, if gay hookers was the worst a guy ever did I'd be okay with that, too.

10. If I recall, the FBI had a major round up of pedophiles just after
the Clinton Administration left office. But the work that it took to gather that information to begin the clean up, occurred during Clinton's time, under Janet Reno's leadership. Yet, the Bush Administration took credit for it.

Republicans love to take credit for other people's work. Even during the financial good times during the Clinton years, they claimed it was due to the spendthrift Reagan years. How do they keep getting away with this shit?

11. They're getting better at rounding them up generally, more sting ops
The Internet helps incredibly with this, they seem to think they're anonymous. I just wish they'd keep thinking that, so we can get them. The Bush administration has had people in their own administration arrested for kiddie-porn (in DH no less, II RC), but they have a lot of bluster. Not to mention, for all their specifying about the sex-slave trade, they don't stop giving lucrative DoD contracts to companies like Syncope who have been pr oven to be involved in the sex-slave trade, or put pressure on Saudi Arabia regarding their regular slavery laws. Yes, Virginia, they have slaves there, and that's quite all right with us, apparently. :banghead:

The difference I've noticed between Democrats and Republicans, in my lifetime at least (since Nixon), is that the Pubs are full of bluster, they like to talk a lot, and don't work much. Republican Congresses are notorious for their lack of deliberation - they spend less days a year actually hammering out their legislation. In the congressional reporting business if a 'Pub congress gets elected everyone cries, and starts cutting back on their spending right away, they know it's going to be lean times.

Dem's OTOH, are notorious for having "field hearings," where they go out and talk to the people affected, and get testimony to make their bills more effective against real problems.

It's easy to SAY you did something, to actually DO it you've got to get off your martini-soaked a$$ and work a bit. We need a Democratic Congress with a large majority. This country is so very screwed... it's gonna take a few decades IMO.
