3. Remove them all from office!!
I think the best thing Democrats could do is to promise accountability. Explain that our hands have been tied because republicans have held the majority for six years and refuse to hold this White House accountable. ...In '04, democrats should have explained that.

When people were talking about disliking Kerry because he was a millionaire (making a nickel on every bottle of ketchup sold). ...Why didn't we get the word out about Bush and Cheney's connection$ to oil and defense companies? Honest to God, I still talk to people who are surprised when they learn that.

I will vote for anyone willing to hold this White House accountable. :argh:

4. Even if the Democrats take both houses of Congress
which of the probably 13-16 Republicans in the Senate needed to attain the 67 votes needed for conviction would vote to convict Bush? Unless the tide turns mightily against Bush in his own party, conviction is very unlikely. Lots of time will be spent in the House and Senate on the matter, but in '08 the Republicans will paint impeachment of Bush as simply being Democratic revenge. As much as some Democrats are salivating over impeachment, it does seem to be more about revenge than justice.
