How does anyone have an opinion on this topic? With completely open government, the best we could hope for would be a promise to try to capture bin Laden. Even then, success wouldn't be guaranteed or even probable. Better to run a poll on who's going to win the World Series this year -- at least then the participants would have a decent knowledge of the probabilities and (barring a strike) a reasonable expectation of an eventual resolution of the question.

somewhere, to be brought out when needed. It's interesting that Michael Ledeen said he was dead this week. Then he sends out a tape. Was he seen on the tape, btw?

They could use a look-a-like also. Bush has all those friends in the Funeral Parlor business ~ just in case he died a natural death and they can't find the body.

5. Why would GW and the repukes get rid of

their biggest trump card? Whenever The repukes get caught in their dirty dealings they have the Bin forgotten card to play and the sheep fall right into line. Terrorists are not going to attack the heart land, what a joke. Yet these good americans are scared. staying in his guest room? ;-)

(My husband and I have a running "joke" that OBL is probably staying in Bush's Crawford house, watching TV, sleeping in a nice cozy bed and laughing his backside off. It even might even explain why Bush goes down there so often, the Bush family and the Bin Laden's were very cozy if I remember orrectly, and why an OBL message can conviently show up when Bush feels the need for a fear boost and manipulation. The only way they'll play the "captured" Bin Laden card will be out of total desparation, then the Bush's will not bat an eyelash before turning on their old "buddy" just as they did Saddam.

Okay now for what is a bit less tin foil hattish ;-) ... he's dead but has a few doubles. I can say this quite easily because (I kid you not) my older adopted brother could pass for OBL's twin... he actually had to shave his beard after 9-11 he was harrassed so much. Hmm... maybe that's who Bush will "capture"... one of the doubles BushCo has in the wings for when they need a bit of manipulation through fear.
