Email I received today. Seems like a good idea no matter what |
|
you think about this illegal war. Snopes has apparently verified that this is for real.
If you go to this web site, www.letssaythanks.com , you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site.
Please send a card.
It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them... I have done this, please take a few seconds and do like wise!

Most of the cards are designed by military kids. I heard back from some. Xerox provides the service.

2. I think it's a good idea that they don't allow you to say what you |
|
want to say, but they do give you quite a list of things to put in the card. Letting people put what they want could get way out of hand and ugly.

3. Wow, they have changed it |
|
When I sent mine a few weeks ago, there was no preset message! I was also able to leave my address if I chose to.

4. Thanks for posting this |

You are right. No matter how much we hate this insane war, those people still need to hear that we are grateful for what they are forced to endure over there.

5. I cannot write to a soldier |
|
without asking him or her to stop participating in the war and to refuse orders.
