I spoke to AFLCIO Richard Trumka on CSPAN this morning.
Edited on Mon Sep-04-06 07:58 AM by liberaldemocrat7
I expressed my sympathy to the men who died in the mines in West Virginia

and I told him to bring up to his fellow union officers my strategy to pressure GOP contributors into going to the GOP and get us the progressive legislation we need and that if enough people participate the GOP would capitulate within a month.

He said he would speak to the union officers about my website and strategy.

I like CSPAN because I can talk to powerful people and tell them my suggestions and I don't have to hold high office nor make contributions to a campaign.

3. I heard you! Great job...and isn't Trumka's US Corporations "Cut & Run"
a good strategic turnaround on the Repugs? I was impressed at how often he repeated that and driving home again and again how CEO's make 431 times as much as their employees. He did a fantastic job of driving his points home and your points about boycotting those who try to discourage unions was a good one. He was very political in his reply so it was good that you named the corporations. :toast:

9. You did a fine job too!
He had a good point about all the people who die and aren't noted since it is "only" one or two.
