NBC Channel 5 weather showed storms moving in vs. the rain we had earlier today and last night.

Armpit of the Bible Belt.
Always nice to know that other dems wish me well - come tornado or red flag drought induced fire warnings.

5. Okie here too, we got a nice rain this morning, about an inch. |
|
Not one trace of thunder or lightning which is really odd. (On Ft. Gibson lake) ;-)

11. Yeh, it was a fairly narrow rain band. We had less than 1/4 inch |
|
in Aug so it was welcome today.

12. Yeah, I remember the assholes who were cheering and laughing |
|
about the fires we had this spring. There were days when I was scared to leave the house for fear a fire would flare up in my neighborhood and my dogs would be trapped.

7. Yeah, that low would probably turn hurricane if over water. |
|
A nice tight low that was (at least yesterday when I looked) completely coupled -- circulating on upper, middle, and lower wind charts in the same place. I was curious as to what it was doing to the weather, but none of the weather charts showed anything but fog warnings.
