Im going to say conservatively that we pickup 4 seats (MT, RI, OH, and PA). we will forget about MO and VA for a minute. IF there is a 51-49 margin, is it MORE LIKELY or LESS LIKELY that the repukes will force a fight to do the NEW CLEAR OPTION. Lieberman and DEWINE are in that gang of 14 would they want to have to vote on that? Ive been wondering about this for a few days and just want some opionions.

Makes all 'Lican options less likely. 60 votes to cut off debate? Forget it.
Also, if they try to muscle Dems around with a thin majority, they'll be even more vulnerable to accusations of partisan obstructionism and extremism come 2008. During which election, lest we forget, 1/3 of the Senate will be up for election again.
