So anyway....What will folks around here say about me when I die?
I took risks because I smoke and drank, implying it was somehow due?

Sure, I was nice in a lot of threads, but man I remember this one time SS went off the deep end and was typing in tongues.

When I die - do me a favor. Get drunk of your ass, smoke weed, chug a pot of coffee, whatever. Then start some nice threads about me and try to remember what people loved about me. My wife would like that.

I'm just like you in a lot of ways. Imperfect, I let others down from time to time, overly judgemental here and there, and the list goes on. Point em out while I am alive, and let those things die with me please.

Cause what you don't see in my life we sometimes don't see in other people's lives either. The dad who snuggles with his little girl and tells her he loves her, the husband who takes care of his sick wife, the guy who helps save the jobs of his engineers (and has done pretty well at that too I might add).

And while I have not entered the homes of many via tv, I have been posting on here in a public forum. Never wrestled an alligator, but I have wrestled with some atheists over in the religion forum :) (god bless ya all!), and while I have not been swimming with the stingrays, I have swam into the depths of heated threads with more than worthy foes.

I love ya all, even when I don't agree with you. Just remember the good things about me if you please, cause the bad makes up a real small percentage of who I really am.

Here lies The Straight Story. He disrupted, but not too poorly.

Oh, and I am just as guilty as others in being disrepectful to the recently dead. I will try to remember my own thread in the future. If I don't, I am sure someone will ;)

8. I wear seat belts. However...
I drink two or three bottles of good wine every night (plus some Chinaco Anejo and/or a couple of martinis).

I smoke only a few cigarettes every night because my lungs are full of the Best Of Humboldt.

And I eat anything and all that I wish.

I haven't been ill since '71 (hepatitis).

I am going to outlive everyone, pretty much.

And they can piss all over me when I'm gone.

Tom

2. I will remember you as a guy I thought was cool until I found out that
you are only 40 years old.

Rookie.

3. What will we say about you when you die? Well,
let's see. I like the time you flew over Trent Lott's house in a helicopter and dropped those 10,000 dildoes all over his yard.

That was a pretty distinct event. And you timed it just when Trent was out cutting grass.

9. i told my husband if i get hit by a bus and die i dont want his family
at my grave. i can see them standing there with their arms folded, shaking their head and saying in front of kids, "told her to quit smoking". that is a joke, but.... i am serious, i dont want them at my grave if i were to die of lung cancer, keep them away.

i think the way people talk about people when they die, or are in pain, or sorrow is horrible, and makes me wonder about our societal mentality. it lacks so.

11. Better to not be known then to be known as an enemy (or jerk)
You could send flowers though. And beer. Just in case I do get resurrected in the future and they have outlawed it again, would be good to have around :)

14. Thank you kindly!
I don't plan on it. But then neither did Mr. Irwin :(

I hope to be around a long time so I can be a pain in the ass of neo-cons :)
